Happy Journey in advance. This season normally the Edges of the road used to wash away or some areas flooded. keeping the vehicles more to the middle will be lil safer(which i was doing all the times when i traveled to Sal aha) Please don't miss any petrol pump few areas. the gas station distance is 250km and some 320km. there are fake petrol pumps as per GPS, only we will find a restaurant, tyreshop and i think a small garage(19.176666,54.503382) Dont forget to visit -Hasik (200km from salaha). drive to Hasik is very nise. on the way you can see white sand desert near to the sea. Try this area, were you can fell your above the clouds. (17.07021,54.630833) and the roads are also enjoyable to ride (beware of cows all over the road). Waiting eagerly to sea photos from Salaha.

Dear Members
Although Al Khatib is the organizer of this trip, but I’m going to be the leading marshal (Team Work), I’m going to explain to you the main outline for our trip:
The Drive to Salalah, 15 Aug 2013
The meeting time will be 8 PM at Al Faqah ADNOC petrol station Dubai-Al Ain Road (E66) (leaving 8:30 SHARP). We will leave from Al Ain (Al Waqqan) border to Oman and expected to reach Salalah in the next day morning, where we are going to settle down for a sleep and drive around in the evening, to enjoy the city of Salalah.
The Fun Drives in Salalah, 17-18 Aug 2013
We will to provide you with a meeting point for the morning time, which is going to be 9:00 AM, to have BREAKFAST+KARAK and source out supplies because our drives are going to be until SUNSET so there will be just few eating stops.
Accommodation
You have to arrange for your accommodation, because as a club we can’t arrange it for you (all depends on your budget). However we will provide you with phone numbers, where you can call in and make your own arrangements. I checked a list of numbers I got on What's UP but it seem to be DEAD END ... So I USED BOOKING.COM
1. I got 4 Rooms in Salalah Marriott Resort So either you check in with us or you can check the following link : Salalah Booking
2. Your Second option is to call someone in Salalah if you know and make a prior booking before you leave UAE.
The Drive Back Home, 19 Aug 2013
We will meet at 11 AM, then drive back home to Al Ain, where expected arrival is to be at 11 PM.

Is this all by road or is there any desert driving involved?
