post #1 is clear enough, so the answer to your question is there.

Our decision is not based on sympathy or other factors, but on the skills, we know where we go and what we do, if we decide not to bring someone is only for his/her safety, and to grant to the selected participants the right level and fun.

You have to be patient, you'll get your chance in the future to participate in this sort of trip
