Almost4x4

Well, well, guys, it seems that we achieved our target and we all have a very fruitful discussion, which contributes to clarify many points of view and I appreciate that fact very much.

At first, we, senior Marshals are somehow responsible for your lives, safety and at the end your enjoyment, when we are driving with you. I say specifically, WE are driving with you all, not YOU with us Marshals...

In any life, there is a communication one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many or many-to-one...

When we are talking on the Forum to a single person, actually we are talking to many, as everybody is reading all comments. We cannot afford to make an exception for a single person, as in a real life, all will understand that the new unwritten rule was created. (Aemi, I'm sorry, if you think I was rude to you, but my expression was very polite from my perspective, as I didn't use any adjective in my statement, and I did say that to may others as well...)

Every event is starting with the organization, controlled by Marshals, I'm sure, you don't know, but we are discussing any single name, to be included in the convoy or not, before the trip. So if we think, that some person is not listening to the rules already on the Forum, how we can be sure, that he will understand commands in desert, over the radio, to ensure his or others safety? E.g. "STOP and don't move a single inch!" And then we can see the car is moving and moving and ending in disaster?...

We had lots of fatal disasters in last season and it was not a very pleasant moment for us... We were feeling sad and bad, questioning, what we are doing wrong...

In many cases, we talk to individuals, in private, to explain them, what we think, they are doing wrong. If somebody thinks, that he knows better than us, we are not forcing him to drive with others in our convoys. The desert is free for everybody.

This Forum belongs to all of us, friends of Almost4x4, and everybody is free to express his opinion and thoughts. It is not a business company with managers and subordinates, it is a community, where everybody can join and be with us, understanding the rules created by a real life, not by a parliament.

2. You did first time register at 'Backyard Adventure' as a Club Member and I shifted you from Waiting List to the Newbie convoy, but you never arrived, despite that we are asking registered drivers to let us know, if they cannot come, not to let others wait for an individual
3. I checked now our database and I cannot find any statement from me, telling you, not to join the group. However if I did somehow, it might be a misunderstanding and I apologize for that fact.

However, we can still wait to see if Marshalls have any comments towards your thoughts and my opinion.

You have completely misunderstood what i want to say.....I did register for this trip correctly in the first place.

My suggestions were pointed towards Capri's invitation to a discussion!!

Dear caprihOrse .... U want me to write a written explanation why i didnt joined last time..... Okay no issue... Whole the week i was preparing my self for the trip.... At every evening after work i am going to some where to collect some off road accessories which i might need in a off road trip... On thursday night i didnt have a basic accessory which was very important to have was the thing by which i can deflate the tyres i dont know the specific word for that instrument but i went to the shop to get it.... How i get to remember this thing ? The last post before the trip from ur side that do not deflate the tyres at petrol pump as we have to travel more 5 km on the road to go off road.....remember...? At that time i dont have that basic tool .... So i rushed to the market....just trlling u so that u can imagin that how much i was intrested to come..... At morning i wake up at 6.... And felt that i have temprature still i decided to join u people.... I was near to national paint when i start vometing and at that time i realised that i will be a trouble for all of you guys so parked my car there and inform alshamsi that what happend to me..... Anyhow u people came bak after the trip and i was viewing all the pics and have aeen so many peoples got their stars... Felt happy for them and was thinking inshallah mext time i will be there too.... This was the reson i didnt joined at that day.......

Thank you so much alshamsi and bu adam.... But if i tried to put my name then i could be wrong becoz thread is already closed.... 2nd thing may be my writing format can be wrong.... Or so many things can be happend... But if i am expressing my own feelings that i missed the trip bcoz i was late or just changed the words that may be people are more quick then me.... So what is wrong in it that a person should tell me in such a way that it felt like insulting.... First of all welcome to our extended family Almost 4x4,, And in family it happens and the person you are talking about is having a child heart......which is crystal clear and its his style to love n show care toward his family Almost 4x4, which you see in sand very soon and i had same experience like you with the same gentleman in registering to one trip.........he wrote to me " you need secretary to do your registration......" i was blank when i saw that message on my screen and i pissed offf........ but in my case i have seen this guy in sand in my last drive meeting and greeting people.......so i said ok i will join and fight with him but next morning when i reached to meeting point he was laughing on me saying Newbee in registration....so dear it happens because its our extended family......am 100% sure once you start coming to our drives you will fall in love with this gentleman....

So dont take words to your heart be chill n relax........After some time definitely you will feel proud to be a member of this family.
