Great to see the club marshalling and supporting this clean up event. I walk my dog most mornings in the desert and am always disappointed to see how families and individuals just get into their 4x4's after a picnic or BBQ and just drive off leaving all the mess behind without a thought in the world for the environment and animals that call the desert their home. It makes me so angry I only wish I could find out where they live and take all the rubbish and dump in in their living room to see how they would react!

Unfortunately I fly to Asia Friday 28th so am unable to help on this occasion but am sure there will be no shortage of volunteers for this good cause. Well done Almost4x4. You do all us members proud.

I hold dear the thought that the way we treat the world today will affect our successors in years to come. I am forever shocked at the way some people have absolutely no respect for mother nature or other people who simply want to enjoy the beautiful scenery and ambience the desert has to provide, without being confronted by rubbish as far as the eye can see. A very noble cause and one I must be a part of. We all must partake and show the offenders that what they do is simply not right and must be stopped.

Unfortunately it's the "actions" of a few that leave our desert and beaches in such a mess. There is no love. There is no respect.
