I think we need to get a tent or sleeping bags but yeah if someone has an idea where and what we should bring that would be great.

Regarding camping gear, some people just take a blanket and sleep outdoors on in the car. Others take a tent, inflatable mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, shower, toilet paper, soap...
Just think what will get you comfortable for the price you want to pay ant that's all.
In the FJ, and only for far away trips, I bring the back seats down and take my duvet and pillow and I have a comfortable double bed. But now it's too hot and I live too close, so will just go home.

Too Many Camping gear available in the local market
But in beaic I advise you to choose
1- coleman tent ( good in summer & light winter)
2- colonel chair ( for long life )
Both is available in carefour and for the blanket and matters you can have any kind you want
Also some of Saudi factory camping gear is available near to albadayer shops
